TEAM OR PLAYER DIRECT REGISTRATION OPTIONS

 

1. TEAM DIRECT - FEES PAID BY TEAM CONTACT

HOW IT WORKS

·    Teams can have as many or as few players as the team chooses

·    We recommend at least 13 players per team.

·    Register your team and pay the deposit upfront and agree to the two (2) subsequent instalments.

·    You manage how players pay you the fees and total cost per player (i.e.: based on number of players, sponsorships, include equipment, etc.).

·    Keep record of transactions and conversations

 

ADVANTAGES

·    Add players for a full season, half-season, or even single games = Flexible.

·    Utilize up to 25 roster spots reducing the cost per player = Reduced fees.

·    The league will not assign additional players to your team = Controlled roster.

·    The players don’t have to register themselves all by the Team Registration Deadline.

 

DISADVANTAGES

·    The Team Contact is responsible for the team funds and payments even if players have not paid them.

·    More responsibility placed on the Team Contact

 

HOW TO REGISTER & PAY = SAME AS USUAL!

o   PLAYERS

·    Add themselves to the roster via the Team Code or Link provided once the Team Registration is submitted - GUIDE

·    Players are required to pay the IPR fee directly to SAS during registration and team fees are paid to the Team Contact.

·    During registration, players must: 

·    Enter the Team Code

·    Follow Prompts / Answer Questions / Sign Waivers

·    Input Payment Details

·    Submit Registration

·    Verify Registration - GUIDE

 

2. PLAYER DIRECT - PLAYER PAY TEAM FEES DIRECTLY & INDIVIDUALLY TO SAS

HOW IT WORKS

·    Team Contact will register the team with AT LEAST FIFTEEN (15) players listed on their preliminary roster that will pay their own full-season fees by the Team Registration deadline.

·    All fifteen (15) players must register to your team BY THE TEAM REGISTRATION DEADLINE or late fees may apply AND Free Agents will be added to your roster.

·    Ensure you have enough numbered and matching jerseys for all players and one Captain’s Armband. See note below.

 

ADVANTAGES

·    Team Contacts do not manage or front any personal funds. Players pay their own fees = No Personal Loss.

·    A refund policy is provided to the players = Assurance.

 

DISADVANTAGES

·    All players must pay the full fee by the Team Registration deadline.

·    The individual player fee can not be reduced with the addition of players to the team/roster.

·    Possibility of Free Agents: The league may add free agents if your roster is short by the Team Registration deadline. This can also be considered an advantage!

·    Players must be organized to make direct and full payment to the office by the team registration deadline.

 

HOW TO REGISTER & PAY AS A PLAYER = NEW for U23 ONLY!

The same as usual with only one additional step!

No deposit required from the Team Contact!

 

o   PLAYERS

·    Add themselves to the roster via the Team Code or Link provided once the Team Registration is submitted - GUIDE HERE.

·    Players are required to pay the IPR & TEAM FEE directly to SAS during registration - GUIDE HERE.

·    During registration, players must: 

·    Enter the Team Code

·    Follow Prompts / Answer Questions / Sign Waivers

·    Select League Package (Fees found here)

·    Boarded MWM

·    Turf MW

·    Legends MW

·    Coed/Coed Masters

·    Input Payment Details

·    Submit Registration

 

IF PLAYERS DO NOT SELECT THE LEAGUE PACKAGE WHEN REQUIRED BY THEIR TEAM CONTACT, THEY WILL BE INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS MADE.

 

JERSEY NOTE - LESS THAN 15 PLAYERS

·    Your team must still have enough jerseys for all players including potential Free Agents.

 

 

OPTIONS TO FILL YOUR ROSTER: PLAYERS PAY TEAM FEES DIRECTLY & INDIVIDUALLY (Minimum 15 Players/Team)

 

1. Option 1: Accept Free Agents

·    The league will assign free agents to reach AT LEAST FIFTEEN (15) PLAYERS

·    SAS may add up to a maximum roster of 25 players

·    SAS may transfer Free Agents to or from your team midseason

 

WE WILL PROCEED WITH OPTION 1 IF WE DO NOT HEAR FROM THE TEAM TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OPTION 2.

 

2. Option 2: Pay for Empty Spots = No Free Agents Assigned

·    Pay the individual fee for any remaining spots to reach fifteen (15) players

 

Ex: If you have 14 players on a turf team, you must pay for 1 additional spots based on the individual turf fees:

1 × $465 = $465

 

Ex: If you have 13 players on a coed team, you must pay for 2 additional spots based on the individual coed fees:

2 × $190 = $280
