Free Agent Permit - Check List

If you're a free agent, here is some information to guide you through the process.

Registration process:

• Make sure you are registered as a free agent

• Pay the 40$ Individual Player Registration & 10$ Free Agent administration fee

When responding to a permit request:

• Reach out to the team contact mentioned in the e-mail you received and ask if they are still looking for players for that game.

• Mention that you are a free agent permit player

• Ask what color Jersey you would need

• Ask what facility the game is at and which field

Going to a game (Equipment):

You will need:

• Canadian Photo ID or Soccer Card

• Shorts

• Shin Pads

• Soccer Socks

• Jersey: The team will confirm if they can provide one or what color you will need to bring

• For Outdoor, make sure you have soccer cleats or turf shoes [Turf Field]

• For Indoor, playing with a Boarded team? Coed? Make sure you have indoor shoes.

• For Indoor, playing with a Turf team? Coed Masters? Make sure you have soccer cleats or turf shoes. Running shoes are not recommended.

Fields:

• Again, we have 2 soccer centers and they require different footwear. Be sure you know what is required at each.

  • Saskatoon Sports Centre (Turf) requires cleats or turf shoes

  • Saskatoon Kinsmen / Henk Ruys Soccer Centre (Boarded Rubber Tile) requires indoor soccer shoes or, if no other option, runners but this is not recommended.
