WOMEN ATHLETES NEEDED FOR RESEARCH IN:
FOSTERING THE FIERCE INNER FAN:
Understanding How Women Athletes Prefer to Learn and Practice Self-Compassion
We are looking for volunteers to take part in a study of understanding how and when women athletes would prefer to learn and practice self-compassion.
You are invited to participate in this study if you:

Identify as a woman
-
Are between the ages of 16-35 years old
-
Are a competitive athlete (i.e., competed in one sport above recreational within the last 12 months)
As a participant in this study, you would be asked to:

Complete online demographic survey

Phase 1: take part in a virtual focus group (60 minutes) to discuss ways you want to learn and practice self-compassion
-
Phase 2: take part in an in-person town hall (60-90 minutes) to provide more detail on initial focus group findings
