A. This refund policy is only available to the players in our league whose team (while registering for the season) selected the player direct payment option. Teams that selected the team direct payment option organize their specific team’s fees and are ineligible to request Player Refund from SAS.
B. This is only available for the Team Fee portion of the player fees. The Individual Player Registration fee is non-refundable.
C. Players that register and pay SAS directly may request a player refund. The Refund Request Application form can be found on our site under FORMS and will be processed within three (3) business days from which the form by received by the office.
a. The Refund Request Application form (and any additional information necessary if submitting beyond June 15 for outdoor and November 15 for indoor) is required to process the request.
D. The refund will be prorated based upon the number of games remaining in the season.
E. All refund requests are subject to a Refund Application fee which includes an administration fee and the Individual Player Registration fee (comprised of the SSA Insurance fee, SAS Capital Improvement Levy and Transaction fees). The Refund Application fee is $75 and will only be deducted if the application is approved.
F. Outdoor Season
a. If a player submits a refund request before 4:00pm on June 15 after the outdoor season commenced the maximum refund of the player fees is 50% returned and the refund fee will be deducted as well.
b. Refund requests submitted from June 15 after 4:00pm to 4:00pm on until July 15 will only be considered for medical reasons or if the player moved further than 40km from Saskatoon. The refund will be calculated on the number of games remaining with the team(s) the player is registered, and the refund fee will be deducted as well.
i. Any requests for refund due to injury MUST include medical documentation from a medical professional.
ii. Any request for refund due to moving MUST include proof of change of address outside of Saskatoon, SK.
c. Requests made after 4:00pm on July 15 will not be considered. A refund for injury/medical and/or moving is also unavailable. No exceptions.
G. Indoor Season
a. If a player submits a refund request before 4:00pm on November 15 after the indoor season commenced the maximum refund of the player fees is 50% returned and the refund fee will be deducted as well.
b. Refund requests submitted from November 15 after 4:00pm to 4:00pm on January 15 will only be considered for medical reasons or if the player moved further than 40km from Saskatoon. The refund will be calculated on the number of games remaining with the team(s) the player is registered, and the refund fee will be deducted as well.
i. Any requests for refund due to injury MUST include medical documentation from a medical professional.
ii. Any request for refund due to moving MUST include proof of change of address outside of Saskatoon, SK.
c. Requests made after 4:00pm on January 15 will not be considered. A refund for injury/medical and/or moving is also unavailable. No exceptions.
H. Refunds will not be given while a player is currently serving a suspension and will not be processed until the date their suspension is concluded.
