Outdoor Field Liner RFT


Saskatoon Adult Soccer Inc. (SAS) requests Tenders for a Field Liner for our Outdoor 2025 season.

The SAS league hosts full field grass games throughout the city. We anticipate weekly lining from May 5 - August 21, 2025, on eight (8) fields at five (5) distinctly different locations. Confirmation of fields will be supplied by the end of April.

 

1.      WEEKLY SERVICE

1.1      Responsible for Pick-up/Transport of Paint and Paint Machine

  • Field paint pick-up/transport.

    - Paint can also be delivered by pallet to an approved SAS location.

    - SAS will not cover the storage fees for storing paint.

  • Paint Machine pick-up/transport.

    - SAS will not cover storage fees for the paint machine.

  • Fuel costs will not be reimbursed.

  • Any other expenditure will be paid by SAS, if previously approved.

 

1.2      Weekly Field Lining

  • Fields will be required to be painted every Monday.

    - If games are not held on a Monday, fields may be painted on the first day of the week they are used.

  • Lining done accurately.

  • Inspection of field for holes, sprinkler heads, sitting water etc.

  • Lining of full and/or half fields.

  • Returning flags to bin / reporting incidents to the office.

 

2.      INTERMITTENT SERVICE

2.1    Assessing Line Visibility

  • Assessing the visibility of lines to see if further painting is required will not be reimbursed.

 

2.2    Field Lining

  • Lining may be required more than once a week including weekends.

  • Maintain accurate, visible field lines. 

 

2.3    Survey Fields

  •  As required and requested.

 

2.4    Miscellaneous

  • As required and requested.

  • Examples:

    - Delivery of equipment bins

    - Moving Benches

    - Setting up nets

  • Any other expenditure will be paid by SAS, if previously approved.

 

2.5    Field Machine Maintenance

  • Maintain working order of machine.

  • Delivering to repair shop and pick up, if required. 

 

2.6    Paint Orders

  • Field paint will be ordered a minimum of weekly by PO at a supplier of our choice/location and paid for by SAS.

 

2.7    Monthly Invoice

  • An invoice must be submitted to SAS monthly.

 

3.      TRANSPORTATION

3.1    Transportation

  • A trailer or truck lift is required for transporting the machine and paint.

 

4.      TENDER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

4.1    Weekly Field Rate

  • Provide a rate per field for weekly lining:

    - Full field dimensions

    - Half field dimensions

  • Provide a rate per field for occasional lining or surveying:

    - Full field dimensions

    - Half field dimensions

 

4.2    Intermittent Hourly Rate

  • Provide hourly rate for intermittent full field:

    - Lining

    - Surveying

  • Provide hourly rate for intermittent half field:

    - Lining

    - Surveying

  • Provide hourly rate(s) for intermittent:

    - Assistance for equipment box transportation

    - Specialty field machine maintenance

    - Miscellaneous support

 

4.3    Saskatchewan Workers Compensation Board

  • A Letter of Good Standing with WCB# is required and must be submitted to SAS with tender.

 

4.4    Liability Insurance

  • Minimum of $3,000,000 liability insurance required and submitted to SAS with tender.

 

4.5    Experience and References

  • Provide your lining experience and references.

 

We reserve the right to make further changes, as necessary, and an official contract will be signed upon agreement of terms with an option to extend. Only the person/company selected for hire will be contacted.
