It’s May long, and the Saskatoon World Cup (SWC) weekend has officially arrived! Hopefully the sun will come out but either way, game on inside the cozy Saskatoon Sports Centre. Time to join in the festivities, cheer on your favourite teams, and play some football!
Of course, SWC is about heritage and country - flags, chants, pride, and passion. But the real MVP is community.
Players, coaches, refs, staff, volunteers, spectators, hosts - we all share one love. That love means we might disagree with a call or a tackle, but respect is non-negotiable.
PASSION DOES NOT EXCUSE BAD BEHAVIOUR.
Keep the beautiful game beautiful. Cheer your hearts out, but do it responsibly. Celebrate fiercely, but respectfully.
