Outdoor 2026 starts tonight with our Coed league! Half field starts May 4 and Full Field May 11!

After the late snow, we are especially thrilled to kick off the outdoor season!

Please take the time to read so you are aware of the details and any changes.

 

UPDATED RULES

There are important updated rules. Example: there are no longer free team forfeits!!!

Please review the Outdoor Updated Rules.

IFAB / FIFA also updated some of the Laws of the Game. Example: Captain's only for communication with the ref!! GK has 8 seconds or is a Corner Kick for the other team!!

Please review the IFAB Rule Changes.

 

GAME SHEETS

Both HOME AND AWAY need to take game sheets to the grass field games.

Games sheets for the Sports Centre games (Indoor turf, Kinsmen and West field) will be provided by us, and can be picked up at admission desk by the HOME team before the game.

The Full field leagues need to bring their game sheets to the game.

 

SLIDE TACKLING

Slide tackling is NOT permitted in ANY COED games.

Slide tackling is NOT permitted in ANY LEGENDS games

Slide tackling is NOT permitted in ANY WOMENS MASTERS games - even in crossovers.

 

OPENING WEEK HOURS

We are open until 6:30pm on:

• Friday, May 1

• Monday, May 4

• Monday, May 11

Take advantage to ask questions, get Player ID cards, etc. Give us a call!

 

PHOTO ID - MUST BE PRESENT

Players must have the photo ID present and CANNOT use a picture on their phone of said ID.

We accept Canadian Government Issued Photo ID in the absence of a Player ID card. We still recommend players get a Player ID card, but we don't want you to miss a game when life happens. Note: We are not responsible for lost or stolen Player ID Cards or Government Issued Photo ID.

SPORTS CENTRE ACCESS - NORTH DOORS FOR ~1 MORE WEEK

The outdoor fields are not quite ready so please continue to use the NORTH / HIGH SCHOOL doors for your games.

We will post an article when it's time to switch to the south doors.

 

SPORTS CENTRE - CHERRY INSURANCE FIELD

West Field has a new sponsor and therefore field name: Cherry Insurance!

 

SPORTS CENTRE - CHANGE ROOMS AVAILABLE*

Do NOT change on the fields.

Indoor Games and Outdoor Full Field Games

Change rooms are available at the Sports Centre for all full field and indoor games and your gear can be left in the room/cages.

Outdoor Half Field Games

*Change rooms are available for outdoor half field games BUT you MUST take your gear to the bench. Items cannot be stored in the rooms. Show up dressed and ready to go - just like a grass field game!

 

SPORTS CENTRE - NO SPITTING

Players will be dismissed by show of a RED CARD if they spit on the indoor turf.

They will not be suspended a second game nor will be included in their red card accumulation. However, it is a dismissal. Just don't do it.

 

REGISTRATION BEFORE PARTICIPATION

EVERYONE on the bench MUST be registered including Team Personnel. They, too, will be required to provide photo ID at the games - just like players do. You CANNOT be on the bench if you are not registered or suspended, and you must be at least 15 years old.

Make sure you are registered on your team PRIOR to playing. Be sure to hit SUBMIT at the bottom of the registration form. If not, you are ineligible and suspensions / overturned games will apply.

You can verify you are registered by reviewing the roster online, receiving the confirmation email or checking your RAMP account under My Registrations.

 

WEATHER - CANCELLED GAMES ANNOUNCED AT 4PM

We will announce any cancelled games due to Rain/Field Conditions at 4pm. Never earlier.

Please check our website’s home page. It will be an article/news at the top of the page.

Teams cannot cancel games and are expected to show up at the field. Games will result as 0-0 forfeit, penalties will be applied, and the game will not be rescheduled if both teams are not present with the minimum number of players.
